Our Story

It started with a dream back in 2005 — to make world class wine in Lake County. After being Lake County’s first wine to be named as one of the Top 100 Wines in the World with our Sol Rouge wines, we accomplished this goal. Although our success has been felt around the world, we wanted to bring something back to Lake County and provide a unique epicurean experience complimenting the great Lake County wines with a world-class food experience. Partnering with our long time chef and the owner of this classic waterfront building next to Library Park in Lakeport, the On The Waterfront Restaurant was born. With our unique approach to pairing local wines and beers with farm fresh food in a family style environment, we forged a community based establishment for residents and guests of Lake County to enjoy.
